Facebook Ad F.A.Q.s
There can be flexibility in budget but for the initial stage we would recommend to set at least $20/Day. This will ensure that we can get data faster and optimize the ads without spending too much time experimenting before you generate your first lead. You ad budget should incrementally increase as you see improved results and you are able to facilitate the number of new leads coming in to your system.
First time ad accounts may be recommended to start at a lower rate while their account is vetted by Facebook.
Often it can take 7 days, but do not get surprised if you start getting results in 1-3 days because we are already using the best creatives and copy for you!
On occasion, especially for new Facebook ad accounts, Facebook's ad service may take longer to optimize your ad performance. After your first ad launch, we recommend joining the included drop-in ad review sessions to monitor the performance and results of your ad content.
Cost-per-lead can fluctuate depending on a variety of factors. We have included some common solutions below to lower costs.
Split Testing: To get the best CPL, you need to test multiple ad sets (different audiences) and ads (creatives + copy). Using Campaign Budget Optimisation Facebook will spend most of the budget on the ad set (and the specific ad) on which people are getting engage most. We recommend turning off the ads with higher CPL and let the most effective ads run, which will result in your CPL becoming lower.
Demographics Adjustments: A narrow target demographic will increase the CPL. Marketing to all available states you are eligible to do business in, as well as broadening the demographics will result in a lower cost for lead generation. The wider the "pool" is that you're targeting, the more effective Facebook will be in finding your leads at a lower cost.
Time: Facebook's advertising algorithms will often result in better performance over time. Some ads may not immediately generate results, but with patience, may become your best performers as their distribution is fine-tuned by Facebook.
A low cost-per-lead is not the only determination of a successful campaign. There is a balance between cost, quality, and follow up to ensure the best experience with your generated leads.
To ensure the best results and value for each lead, set up a strong follow up process including automations, personal outreach, and working on improving your personal sales abilities.
If you need assistance with automation setup, review the Agent CRM Training course, or email us at [email protected] to ask us about working with our DFY team to modify your automations.
From time to time, ads may need to be adjusted or updated to get the best results. Included with your Marketing+ membership is access to our weekly ad review sessions. Join us for a drop in session to check in on the performance of your ad content.
